This wildcat is the largest capacity .30 caliber cartridge in use today. It was originally developed for 1,000-yard benchrest competition, although a handful of shooters now use it for long-range hunting. This is the ultimate cartridge for driving a heavy .30 caliber bullet very far, very fast.

There is no SAAMI pressure criteria for the .30-378. The maximum loads shown below are based upon the pressure limits for the parent cartridge case and the other cartridges in this class. This is a wildcat cartridge and care should be exercised in approaching the maximum loads listed below.
