Pennypacker, Daniel—Gunmaker. Located in Cumru Township, Berks County, Pcnna., about 1772. The following year he built a small gunshop near the head of the Wyomissing.
He made his arms entirely by hand and met with such success that by the fall of 1776 he was giving employment to five hands. Active until t8o8 and succeeded by his son, William.
Pennypacker, William—Son and successor to the above in 1808. Active until i8<;8.
