Removal Of Extractor

1. Before removing extractor pin, Be prepared to prevent movement of extractor spring. Do-not remove the ejector retaining pin which is smaller and nearer the front of the bolt.

2. Push extractor pin from bolt, the tip of the firing pin can be used for this. Do not bend or pry!

3. Remove extractor and spring.

* Extractor assembly has a rubber insert within the spring. Be sure not to loose it. If the spring comes loose, put the large end of spring in the extractor and seat it.

A. Clean, lube, and reassemble. Test extractor spring function.
