regulating ring (61A) is placed behind the friction ring (62) its bevelled part to the front (fig. 9).
An increase in the weight of the barrel will have a similar effect. In such case, it is necessary to adjust suitably the recoil mechanism.
It is also possible to vary considerably the strength of the recoil by greasing the recoil spring and the exterior of the magazine tube. A lot of grease will increase the recoil, whilst a little grease will lessen it. If, for example, when firing a normal cartridge, ejection does not occur, it is sufficient to lightly oil the magazine tube in the region of the friction ring to obtain correct ejection.
