Caution

When temperature is below -25°F (-32°C), grease (GMD) can cause track rails, slider, master link, and chain to stick. When temperature is below -25°F (-32°C), use LAW on track rails, slider, master link, and chain.

Do not apply grease to face of breech bolt. Grease will attract dust and dirt which might stop gun.

LUBRICATE BOLT AND TRACK ASSEMBLY.

a. If temperature is above -25°F (-32°C), using acid brush, apply a light coat of grease to slider path (1) and track paths (2). Apply a heavy coat of grease to locking lugs of bolt (3).

b. If temperature is below -25°F (-32°C), using acid brush, apply a light coat of LAW to slider path (1) and track path (2). Apply a heavy coat of LAW to locking lugs of bolt (3).

c. If temperature is above -25°F (-32°C), using acid brush, apply a light coat of grease to rails on track assembly (4) and apply a heavy coat of grease to roller assembly chain (5), slider (6), and master d. If temperature is below -25°F (-32°C), using acid brush, apply a light coat of LAW to rails on track assembly (4) and apply a heavy coat of LAW to roller chain assembly (5), slider (6), and master link link (7).
