Caution

When temperature is below -25°F (-32°C), grease (GMD) can cause bolt to stick. When temperature is below -25°F (-32°C), use LAW on breech bolt, firing pin, firing pin sleeve, and cam-pin.

Do not apply grease to face of breech bolt. Grease will attract dust and dirt which might stop gun.

a. If temperature is above -25°F (-32°C), using acid brush, apply a light coat of grease to breech bolt (1), firing pin assembly (2), firing pin sleeve (3), and cam-pin assembly (4).

b. If temperature is below -25°F (-32°C), using acid brush, apply a light coat of LAW to breech bolt (1), firing pin assembly (2), firing pin sleeve (3), and cam-pin assembly (4).

c. If temperature is above -25°F (-32°C), using acid brush, apply a generous coat of grease to bore (5) of carrier assembly (6).
