This procedure is typical for removal of plain encased seals.
The following procedure is written for one plain encased seal, but applies to all three plain encased seals.
1. REMOVE PLAIN ENCASED SEAL.
Using inside mechanical puller, remove plain encased seal (1) from housing bore (2). Discard plain encased seal.

2. REMOVE SLEEVE BUSHING.
Remove sleeve bushing (3) from feeder housing (4). Discard sleeve bushing.
3. REMOVE NEEDLE BEARING.
Remove needle bearing (5) from feeder housing (4).
4. REMOVE STRAIGHT PINS.
If damaged, remove two straight pins (6) from feeder housing (4).
INSPECT FEEDER HOUSING ASSEMBLY.
Inspect feeder housing for cracks. If feeder housing is cracked, replace entire feeder housing assembly.
1. INSTALL STRAIGHT PINS.
If removed, install two straight pins (1) into feeder housing (2).
2. INSTALL NEEDLE BEARING.
Install needle bearing (3) into feeder housing (2).
3. INSTALL SLEEVE BUSHINGS.
Install four sleeve bushings (4) until each sleeve bushing is seated into feeder housing (2).
