Note

There are two different configurations of safety actuators and safety handles that must be used together. The old configuration actuator and handle are no longer stocked. If either one of these items require replacement, both the actuator and handle must be replaced with new configuration parts.

c. Visually inspect track (12) (sliding surfaces) for chips and burrs. Deburr as required. Each track rail may exhibit chipping along the entire rail. If chipping crosses the top of the rail and exceeds 4.0 mm when measured along the outboard of the rail, the track must be replaced. If chips and burrs are excessive or cause binding of bolt carrier on assembly, replace track.
