Note

Do not back off self-locking nut after it has been torqued (tightened). Threads of nut and standoff, and bearing surfaces of nut and forward feed assembly must be free of lubricant while applying torque.

Install new self-locking nut (12) on feeder standoff (13) and torque nut to 67 in.-lb ± 8 in.-lb (7.57 N-m ± 0.90 N-m).

7. INSTALL EJECTION CHUTE (WP 0032 00).

8. INSTALL FORWARD LINK STRIPPERS (WP 0030 00).

9. INSTALL LINK SHIELD (WP 0029 00).

10. INSTALL LINK BRIDGES FOR STANDARD FEEDER (WP 0027 00) OR LINK COVER ASSEMBLIES FOR ENHANCED FEEDER (WP 0028 00).

11. PERFORM AUTOMATIC GUN FEEDER MANUAL CYCLE CHECK (WP 0007 00).

12. INSTALL AUTOMATIC GUN FEEDER (WP 0026 00). END OF WORK PACKAGE
