Note

Labeled side of the volatile paper must be on the outside of the wrap.

a. Cut a section of volatile paper 14 in. (35.6 cm) wide by 92 in. (233.7 cm) long.

b. Wrap barrel with the paper. Fold paper over barrel ends.

c. Secure paper wrap with tape (item 31, WP 0116 00) (3 pieces of 1 x 10).

d. Pad sharp projections with cushioning (2 pieces of 4 x 8, 2 pieces of 2 x 6). Hold cushioning in place with tape (2 pieces of 2 x 10, 2 pieces of 2 x 6).

5. SEAL WRAPPED BARREL IN INTERIOR PACKAGING SLEEVE.

a. Cut sleeve to length.

b. Put wrapped barrel in 10 in. (25.4 cm) wide (seal-to-seal) by 92 in. (233.7 cm) long sleeve.

c. Using heat sealing machine, seal ends of sleeve.

d. Apply tape (item 29, WP 0116 00) around sleeve where sleeve contacts saddles (2 pieces of 2 x 10, 2 pieces of 2 x 6).
