Dry cleaning solvent (SD) is flammable and toxic. Use in well-ventilated area away from an open flame or a smoking area. This solvent evaporates quickly and has a drying effect on the skin. It may cause cracks in the skin and, in some cases, mild irritation or inflammation. If solvent comes in contact with eyes or skin, flush with water.
CLEAN REMOVED PARTS.
Using a clean wiping rag dampened with dry cleaning solvent, wipe and clean all removed parts. INSPECTION

Visually inspect externally relieved screw (1), headed straight pin (2), sear release link (3), interlock crank (4), push rod extension (5), sear push rod (6), push rod extension spring (7), rocker support rod (8), rocker (9), rocker spring housing (10), recoil rocker spring (11), and operating rod assembly (12) for bends, cracks, chips, and breaks. If any of these conditions are found, replace defective part.

c. Check recoil rocker spring (11) for proper free length. Helical spring free length should be 1-1/4 in. ± 1/4 in. (31.8 mm ± 6.4 mm). If length is incorrect, replace recoil rocker spring.
