Point bolt face away from your face and away from other personnel, the spring can fly out and cause injury.

Install ejector removing tool (2). Apply pressure to ejector (3) and compress helical compression ejector spring (9) with ejector removing tool (2).


Install new spring pin (8) in bolt assembly (4). Spring pin (8) should be flush or slightly below flush. Remove ejector removing tool (2).

Trigger housing assembly removed from receiver (TM 9-1005-313-10).
