Laying the Ambush

Align your claymore series to cover an ambush kill zone, perhaps on a trail or edge of a road used by the enemy. Be sure to conceal the claymores! Run the electric wire behind a tree or rock, with the positive wire running up to the gate. For safety's sake, don't connect the interrupted circuit to the battery unless you're sure no friendlies are in the kill zone, and make sure you aren't too close to the backblast area. If all is well when you make the connection (i.e., it doesn't detonate), then withdraw to your hide.
