Mounting a scope

The top of the receiver on every Model 63 is grooved to accept standard 22 caliber rifle-type scope mounts. Depending on the type of bases and/or mounts you purchase, your rifle will accept thin-tube scopes, red-dot type sights or standard rifle scopes. On the 63 the barrel is attached rigidly to the top portion of the receiver. So, even though your rifle is a take-down design, your scope stays sighted in even after the action is taken down.

Carefully follow all instructions provided with your scope mounts, rings and scope when mounting your scope.
